Endowment gifts provide sustainable funding that empowers MRERF to continuously elevate professional standards, expand knowledge, and support industry success.

Things to know:

The principal (original gift) is invested, not spent

Only a portion of the investment earnings is used each year, if requested

Creates a sustainable, ongoing funding source

Often supports core priorities like education, research, or scholarships forever

It’s like planting a tree – you don’t cut it down; you live off the fruit it produces year after year.

You may make a one-time or recurring donation to the Endowment Fund. The fund is held and managed by The Denver Foundation in Denver, CO.

A general donation is meant for immediate or near term when needed.

Things to know:

Funds are typically spent in the near term.

Supports current programs, operations, or urgent needs.

Provides flexibility to address what’s needed right now.

Does not generate long-term income.

This is like buying groceries – you’re meeting today’s needs now and in the short-term.
